Bosch Universal Cutter "Xeo" with lithium-ion battery

The handy cordless universal cutter "Xeo" from Bosch is a world first. It cuts through different everyday materials quickly and effortlessly: thin decoration materials, but also thicker materials such as cardboard or carpet up to six millimetres thick. One battery charge is enough for a cutting length of about 50 metres at higher load.

The self-sharpening blade of this innovative power tool is particularly convenient for the user. It means blade changes are no longer required and offers continuously good cutting performance.

The Xeo cordless cutter is so handy and powerful because it uses a lithium-ion battery. These kinds of batteries have been used successfully for years in mobile phones and laptops. They are equally as powerful as conventional nickel batteries, but are three times smaller and lighter at the same capacity.

What's more, lithium-ion batteries have hardly any self-discharge and can be recharged at any time. This means that the Xeo is still ready for use, even if it has not been used for months. It can be charged repeatedly in the charger that comes complete with the tool whenever you take a short break from your work. The universal cutter, therefore, does not require any maintenance.
